Jalen Suggs returned to the Kennel and the Gonzaga Bulldogs (20-2, 9-0) caged the Pacific Tigers (7-18, 2-8) 74-39 for the Zags 30th straight WCC win.
Rumored to be in attendance, Suggs made his Kennel debut and electrified the student section before introductions. Suggs gave former high school Chet Holmgren a hug before joining the first row of the Kennel for part of the first half.
“You forget, he never got that. He never had that in his college career. He got a little towards the end of the NCAA tournament, but nothing like that,” said head coach Mark Few.
