On Sunday, Gonzaga forward Rui Hachimura announced he is returning for his junior season, opting to bypass the 2018 NBA Draft.
As a sophomore, Hachimura averaged 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, shooting 56.8 percent from the field. In 18 West Coast Conference games, the 6-foot-8-inch wing posted a team-high 12.9 points per game.
“I’m excited to come back to Gonzaga next season,” Hachimura told GoZags.com. “I appreciate everything I have learned from the coaching staff, and look forward to learning more and growing my game. I’m excited to have another season with my teammates in front of Zag nation.
