LAS VEGAS — In the semifinal of the West Coast Conference tournament, Gonzaga dismantled the Dons of San Francisco, a team that gave them trouble in both regular season matchups. Backed by four double-digit scoring performances, GU won 88-60 and is now in the WCC championship for the 21st straight season.
“It is great to advance to another final,” head coach Mark Few said. “It is an unbelievable streak we have going here. It is never easy. San Francisco has been a really tough opponent for us this year.”
The Zags exploded for 48 points in the first half and there was zero hesitation behind it.
