Louisiana Tech's Jaqwis Dancy completed his first spring football session since beating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The Junction City, Arkansas native is back, healthier than ever and ready to take his place in the tech running back rotation.
Without the top two leading rushers from last year, the Bulldogs needed someone to step up this spring. Dancy got some valuable reps last season, even scoring his first touchdown since remission.
That time on the field proved beneficial as he led all rushers in the spring game with a team high 78 yards. Dancy may have been waiting in the wings doing mental reps, but he's ready for it to be his time.
