KENNESAW — Akebren Ralls made his presence known early in Kennesaw State’s intrasquad scrimmage Friday.
The rising senior defensive back read the pass attempt by second-team quarterback Daniel David, broke on it and did not stop until he and the ball reached the end zone.
The 30-yard interception return proved to be the only touchdown of the afternoon as the defense dominated the offense again at the KSU Sports and Recreation Park.
“We have keys every play,” Ralls said, “and when I saw the quarterback open his hips, I broke just as he threw the ball.
