K-State shows off aerial attack at open practice

Kansas State's players and coaches promised the offense will look slightly different this fall.

If Saturday was any indication, expect the Wildcats to take to the air more in the coming season. Quarterbacks Alex Delton and Skylar Thompson aired it out early and often during the one-hour portion of practice fans and media members were permitted the view, the lone glimpse outsiders will get to see of the team before the opener Sept. 1 against South Dakota.

No official stats were kept, but Delton clearly got the better of the two, with an efficient, no-interception showing. Thompson tossed one interception, with defensive back AJ Parker stepping in front of the signal-caller's intended receiver.
