James Akinjo, the former starting point guard for the Georgetown Hoyas, is reportedly interested in returning back to the west coast for basketball, and with that comes the requisite interest in the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Georgetown abruptly announced that Akinjo and Josh LeBlanc would no longer play for the Hoyas yesterday. News later trickled out that LeBlanc has a restraining order against him by a Georgetown student. Akinjo’s name has not been linked to any criminal or civil suits.
Akinjo was a four-star guard out of Richmond, California, who intially committed to the Connecticut Huskies.
