WCC Media Week has begun in Las Vegas, and this morning, the Gonzaga Women were selected to finish atop the West Coast Conference once again. They received seven of the 10 first place votes from coaches in the conference. Saint Mary’s received a pair and BYU received the other.
Gonzaga is coming off a 17-1 conference record a year ago, the most wins by any team in WCC history. They’ve won the regular season and tournament crowns each of the last two seasons.
The Zags return three key seniors, all of which were named to the pre-season All-WCC Team.
