The Gonzaga Bulldogs and the West Virginia Mountaineers are meeting for the fifth time, with West Virginia picking the wrong you to try and earn their first win.
The Zags, obviously, are the No. 1 team in the nation, but West Virginia is no slouch opponent. The Mountaineers looked solid throughout the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic. This game was originally scheduled to be against Tennessee, so credit to WVU coach Bob Huggins, who jumped at the opportunity to fill in.
So it’ll be WCC Player of the Week Drew Timme, WCC Freshman of the Week Jalen Suggs, some guy named Corey Kispert, and the rest of the Gonzaga squad running up against Miles “Duece” McBride and Derek Culver.
