On Dec. 16, 2017, a Geno Crandall-led North Dakota team gave the Gonzaga Bulldogs the most frightening run for their money any opponent has in recent Spokane memory. Gonzaga ended up toughing out for the OT win, and got the final laugh when Crandall transferred to GU the next year.
So, no offense to Crandall, here is to hoping the Bulldogs crush the Fighting Hawks in a way that makes it much easier to watch the game and not die of indigestion, heartburn, stress, etc.
Perhaps Killian Tillie will be back this time around, but even the senior Gonzaga forward is not sure.
