The Gonzaga Bulldogs are one first-place vote away from being the undisputed No. 1 team in the country according to the latest AP Poll. Last week, Baylor received two first-place votes. This week it was only one.
Elsewhere around the poll there was plenty of movement. Iowa launched back into the top 5 after notching solid wins over both Northwestern and Rutgers. Houston dropped from No. 5 to No. 11 after its disappointing road loss to Tulsa on Tuesday.
BYU also garnered 18 votes this week. The Cougars finished out an impressive run on their non-conference slate, getting a road win at San Diego State and a home win over Utah.
