Gonzaga and Baylor started the season ranked one and two in the Associated Press Top 25. It’s now Week 12 and nothing has changed. The Bulldogs and Bears remain atop the newest poll on Monday, with Baylor picking up five more first place votes after beating Texas on the road.
With Kansas dropping out of the polls for the first time since 2009, Gonzaga now owns the longest current streak of weeks ranked in the top 25 at 90 consecutive weeks. This is the first time since December of 1961 that Kansas, Duke, UNC, UCLA, and Kentucky are all unranked.
