For the second consecutive season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs will open as the No. 1 team in the country according to the AP Top 25, comfortably beating out a familiar foe in the UCLA Bruins who come in at No. 2 and whom the Zags will play in Las Vegas on November 23 in a rematch of last season’s thrilling Final Four win. The Bruins are the only other team that received first place votes.
