GM's comment rocks No. 1 NFL draft pick odds

The 2025 NFL Draft is still more than three months away, but the current owner of the No. 1 overall pick has already stirred the drama. New Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi said Wednesday that while the team wants to stockpile draft picks, he won't pass on a "generational talent." Many took that as a thinly-veiled mention of Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, Colorado's two-way playmaking star. That included oddsmakers, who quickly adjusted their markets for the No. 1 overall pick. Hunter, who was a +1500 longshot to go No. 1 at BetMGM on Tuesday, had seen his odds shorten all the way to +150 after Borgonzi's comments.
