Georgia head coach Kirby Smart offers updates on Divaad Wilson and Sam Madden

Georgia football completed its first week of spring football with the conclusion of practice on Saturday. It also marked the first day the team practiced in pads. Head coach Kirby Smart gave updates on two injured players.

Defensive back Divaad Wilson was injured on Saturday during the closed portion of practice. Smart said he does not know the status of the injury.

“That’s disheartening because he had had three really good practices,” Smart said. “I was really fired up about him.”

Wilson is one of the nine early enrollees for Georgia football this year. During his high school career at Miami Northwestern High School, Wilson played as a cornerback.
