A former NFL All-Pro is going to coach running backs at Arizona.

DeMarco Murray is set to become the Wildcats’ new running backs coach, the Star has learned. An official announcement is expected in the coming days.

Murray spent this past season as a college football analyst for Fox Sports. He retired from the NFL after the 2017 season. He rushed for 7,174 yards during a seven-year career with three teams, including a league-high 1,845 yards with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014.

Murray played his college ball at Oklahoma, where one of his recruiters and coaches was current UA head coach Kevin Sumlin.
