'Forever appreciative:' Ex-Saints exec, fired by Tom Benson amid Katrina tensions, issues heartfelt condolences

As condolences poured in following the death Thursday of Tom Benson, one voice of gratitude to the Saints and Pelicans owner stood out.

It was from Arnie Fielkow, whom Benson fired as a Saints vice president when he expressed concern over the team's plan to finish its season immediately after Hurricane Katrina in San Antonio.
