Fisher wants to be heard at spring practices

A noticeable change at practices under first-year Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher is no blaring music which has become trendy in recent years with some coaches, including former Aggie coach Kevin Sumlin.

“But how in the heck do you hear when they coach, when you coach ‘em?” Fisher said. “I’m trying to coach them at the same time. Are they going to listen to a song or are they going to listen to me?”

Fisher believes his staff is being heard loud and clear.

“The kids did a good job, they’re working,” Fisher said after Monday’s fifth spring practice.
