One of the hard parts of watching a team which played so well early in the season is you become a victim of your own success.
To that end, no, last weekend’s victories over Pepperdine and Saint Mary’s were not the most aesthetically pleasing we’ve seen. But there were positives to take out of those two games, not the least of which was simply beating Pepperdine and Saint Mary’s.
