KNOXVILLE — Moving pieces has been the theme this week at Tennessee spring practice.
Tuesday started with seven players at new positions. Some players were going to brand new positions and some were headed back to positions they had played under the old coaching staff after giving a new spot a try.
Thursday, the switches continued. Journeyman Princeton Fant went from running back to linebacker on Tuesday, but had already returned to the backfield on Thursday.
Fant was a receiver in high school but was recruited to Tennessee by Butch Jones and his staff to be a tight end.
