Hunter Sallis and Efton Reid are teaming up once again. The two former Zags are getting a massive opportunity to shine in the ACC under the tutelage of Steve Forbes.
For Efton, this will be his second time transferring as he spent the 2021-2022 season at LSU before joining Gonzaga for the 2022-2023 season. In his sophomore campaign, the seven-footer averaged only 2.1 PPG and 1.0 RPG in 4.7 MPG during 25 games played. His minutes and production dropped significantly in Spokane compared to his time in Baton Rouge.
The former 5-star recruit in the 2021 class could use another new change of scenery and a program that can utilize his size in the frontcourt to their advantage during ACC play.
