LAS VEGAS — It’s a problem that Montell Cozart has never had before.
While experiencing his first bowl game after four losing seasons at Kansas, the Boise State quarterback didn’t realize how many free bowl gifts he’d be receiving or how much room they would take up in his suitcase.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do when I go home,” Cozart said. “I’m going to have to check another bag.”
Cozart won eight total games in four seasons at Kansas, where playing in a bowl game wasn’t a realistic goal. But he transferred to Boise State as a graduate transfer for his final season of eligibility and already has experienced more wins this season than the previous four combined.
