Dez Bryant is no longer a Dallas Cowboy.
The news broke earlier today after owner and general manager Jerry Jones decided it was time to part ways with the prolific and sometimes volatile wide receiver.
According to ESPN's Todd Archer, Bryant met with Jones at The Star practice facility and was not offered a pay cut before being released.
He was due $12.5 million this season with another year remaining on his contract.
Jones said in part in a statement, "This was not an easy decision. it was made based upon doing what we believe is in the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys.
