There was plenty of movement in the latest AP poll but the team that matters most didn’t move one inch. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are still the No. 1 team in the nation.
The Zags received a lion’s share of the first-place votes, although one intrepid voter does not agree and still awarded the Duke Blue Devils a first-place vote, despite Duke’s second loss in four games. As a quick reminder, the Gonzaga Bulldogs beat the Duke Blue Devils earlier in the year.
All jokes aside, Gonzaga should hold strong as the No. 1 team in the nation for another week, especially considering Gonzaga will not play basketball until next Monday.
