The Bears are expected to agree to terms on a four-year contract with speedy slot receiver Taylor Gabriel, the third weapon they will have added to an offensive attack that is decidedly more dangerous than it was just 24 hours ago.
Gabriel’s deal, like those of Pro Bowl wide receiver Allen Robinson and pass-catching tight end Trey Burton, do not become official until the league year begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The 5-foot-8, 165-pound Gabriel ran a wind-aided 4.27 40-yard dash at his pro day at Abilene Christian in 2014, and he has shown a knack for big plays, especially in 2016, his first of two seasons in Atlanta.
