Bleacher Report released a story Thursday morning that really shook the college football realm and sparked countless hot takes. In it, Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts’ father, Averion Hurts, not-so-subtly insinuated that Jalen would transfer if he does not end up with the starting job. And that it’s also his son’s own fault he’s even in a quarterback battle with Tua Tagovailoa right now.
“I’m not really concerned about what somebody else chose to write,” Tide coach Nick Saban said Thursday evening. “Because I’m going to sort of always use the personal conversation that I have with our player, Jalen, and his family when necessary.
