Texas A&M graduate transfer guard Admon Gilder gave his verbal commitment to play at Gonzaga next season. The 6’4” guard is immediately eligible and will help fill a hole in Gonzaga’s back court.
Gilder was on campus this weekend and obviously enjoyed what he saw as he committed right away. The two sides had great interest in each other and the style of play and fit for Gilder ended up outweighing his options to play closer to home (Texas, SMU, TCU).
Gilder missed all of last season because of a blood clot in his arm. If he is back to his sophomore and junior year form, he is an excellent addition.
