Gonzaga Bulldogs 2019 recruit Anton Watson was invited to the USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Cup Team training camp, June 15-18, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Watson is one of 34 athletes to receive an invitation, which will eventually be whittled down to a 12-man roster. The U19 team departs for the FIBA World Cup in Greece on June 24.
Of note for Gonzaga fans is the invitation of 2020 Gonzaga recruit Jalen Suggs. Gonzaga has been hard on the chase for Suggs, the No. 10 ranked recruit by 247 Sports.
