The Gonzaga Bulldogs’ Class of 2019 is one of the best in school history, and it also showcased an impressive jump in the recruitment battle when the Zags landed Texas big man Drew Timme.
The Zags incoming class is loaded to the brim with foreign-born players, nothing new there. Timme is a step in a direction that we, as fans, have been clamoring for, and growing (understandably) visibly frustrated about.
Timme is ranked as the No. 43 player, the Zags highest-ranked recruit in 2019 by a few spots. Watching his style of play and you see one of the prototypical Gonzaga big men.
