Woods woes are down to mentality, not technique

Tiger Woods must rediscover his motivation for winning if he is to stand any chance of adding to his 14 major titles, according to his close friend Notah Begay.

Woods heads to next week's US Open at Chambers Bay sitting a lowly 181st in the world rankings and nursing the wounds of his display at the Memorial, which saw him card a third-round 85 and finish on a career-worst 14-over par.

Begay, Woods' team-mate when the pair attended Stanford University, is confident the former world No.1 can still make a return to winning ways, but he disagrees with Woods that it is a merely a matter of his new swing.
