Noren shot a course record 10-under-par 62 to rally from seven shots off the lead to win the European Tour’s flagship event. He finished with a 72-hole total of 11-under-par 277 and a two-shot victory over Francesco Molinari of Italy.
“Probably my best ever,” Noren said, when asked where his score of 62 ranks in his career. An eagle on the last hole sealed the deal, and was set up by a stroke of genius to the par-5 18th.
