During his winner’s press conference Sunday, the Northern Trust Open champ described passing a kidney stone in all the gory details before concluding by saying, “My baby came out, I guess.”
Facial expressions quickly changed from wincing to smiles as the room broke out in laughter.
Watson said this was the second time he suffered from a kidney stone. The first occasion happened during the Zurich Classic of New Orleans five years ago.
