Frenchman Gregory Bourdy and Masters champion Danny Willett had some unexpected visitors in the 12th fairway at Le Golf National.
Playing their respective approach shots during the first round of the 100th Open de France, Bourdy and Willett encountered a swarm of bees.
Fortunately, no one appeared to be stung. It could have been a lot worse.
Just ask Pablo Larrazabal, who got stung over 20 times by hornets in the 2014 Malaysian Open.
