The field has been cut to 32 at the 115th U.S. Women’s Amateur. Here are five matches to watch in the second round of match play at Portland Golf Club:
7 a.m. Justine Dreher (64) vs. Hannah O’Sullivan (32): A match that pits two top-20 amateurs in the world, Dreher comes in strong after rocking co-medalist Angel Yin, 5 and 4, in the first round. At 23, the Frenchwoman is the oldest player left in the field. O’Sullivan, already a winner on the Symetra Tour, advanced to the semifinals of the 2014 Women’s Am. The 17-year-old made her first cut at the Women’s Am at age 12.
