US Open Odds 2020: Latest Vegas Lines for Underrated Sleepers in the Field

The 14-year gap between U.S. Opens at Winged Foot Golf Club makes a difference when trying to evaluate the best sleeper candidates for the tournament.

Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker are the only two players in the 2020 field that finished in the top 10 in the 2006 edition won by Geoff Ogilvy.

The lack of course history combined with the unusual timing of this year's tournament make it hard to predict which players could break out from further down the odds chart.

Only 30 golfers competed during all three legs of the FedEx Cup and a majority of the top contenders skipped last week's Safeway Open to prepare for Winged Foot.
