Tiger's anticipated appearance a big boost for Turkey

Chandler is the founder of International Sports Management, which runs the European Tour event in Turkey, and told GolfChannel.com that he had been trying to woo the former world No. 1 for months.

“[Woods’ manager Mark Steinberg] and I have been talking about it for three or four months on the off chance he was going to be fit by the end of the year,” Chandler said.
