Tiger Woods on Cut Line After 1-Under in 2nd Round of 2018 Players Championship

Tiger Woods is sitting on the cut-line seesaw through 36 holes at the Players Championship.

After shooting an even-par 72 on Thursday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Woods came back in Round 2 and mustered a pair of birdies and a single bogey to move to one-under par overall.

That unspectacular showing, which was defined by a bit of shoddy iron and wedge play, left Woods right on the cut line and nine shots back of the lead entering the clubhouse.

The 14-time major champion opened his morning with six straight pars on the back nine, and it wasn't until the par-five 16th that he was able to mark down a birdie on his scorecard:
