MOSEL, Wis. – To say that Thomas Bjorn has struggled during the 2015 season would be a vast understatement.
The Dane has yet to record a top-10 finish during the season. It's the first time since 2004 that he has not made it once on the leaderboard at the end of a tournament.
So when the 44 year-olds’ name appeared on the top of the leaderboard during Thursday morning's first round of the PGA Championship at 5 under, it was a bit surprising. But two bogeys to finish dropped Bjorn to a 3-under 69 finish and a bit of bad taste in his mouth.
