The 1st Prestwick Collection celebrates British Open history, tradition

The British Open returns to its birthplace in Ayrshire, Scotland, next week when it is played at Royal Troon, just up the coastline from Prestwick.

Last week, The Open released the 1st Prestwick Collection, which celebrates the history and tradition of the British Open, first played in 1860 at Prestwick Golf Club.

The collection includes polos, knitwear and outerwear, along with headwear, leather goods and other accessories.

The 1st Prestwick Collection is available at the British Open’s online shop at www.TheOpen.com/1stPrestwick, as well as the championship’s official retail store at Glasgow Airport and the Prestwick Golf Club pro shop.
