Charl Schwartzel eased to a four-shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Malelane, South Africa.

Schwartzel finished with a two-under-par 70 for a 15-under total of 273. He finished ahead of a group of Frenchmen. Grégory Bourdy was second, at 11 under; Benjamin Hébert was third, at 10 under; and the rookie Sébastien Gros finished fourth, at nine under.

u25a0 Matt Jones overcame a bogey, a double-bogey and a triple-bogey on the front nine to escape with a one-stroke victory in the 100th Australian Open in Sydney after shooting a two-over 73. Jones, who led the defending champion, Jordan Spieth, by three strokes to begin the day, finished with a 72-hole total of eight-under 276.
