CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Last week at The Players Adam Scott said he hadn’t spent much time thinking about his putting, a hot topic after the Australian showed up at his 2015 PGA Tour debut with a non-anchored putter.
But that experiment only lasted three starts, and he switched back to his broom-handled putter at the Masters. The results, however, haven’t been much better with the longer version.
“Last week I putted nicely and then putted horribly on Sunday,” said Scott, who needed 35 putts during the final day at TPC Sawgrass, including five three-putts.
