INCHEON, Korea – It’s been five weeks since Adam Scott’s season ended at The Barclays and the Australian spent that time making what he called a “forced change” to a conventional-length putter.
Scott arrived at this week’s Presidents Cup using a standard-length putter with a cross-handed grip after finishing his season with his old broom-handled putter.
“It was a good time to make the change and I spent some time working on it, a similar amount of time actually when I went to the long putter,” Scott said. “It’s kind of refreshing to make a forced change because my putting stats are certainly unimpressive this year.
