Rahm could take FedExCup and Race to Dubai

ATLANTA – Jon Rahm watched last year’s Tour Championship on television, just three months removed from his college career and bound for the PGA Tour following top-5 finishes at the Quicken Loans National and RBC Canadian Open.

That he enters this week’s finale fifth on the playoff points list is a testament to how well the Spaniard has played his first full year as a professional. That he also has a chance to win the European Tour’s season-long race is amazing, even to Rahm.

“If I ever get to do it, it will be a really special moment,” said Rahm, who is third on the Continent’s season-long points list.
