Dicky Pride won the WinCo Foods Portland Open on Sunday, firing a closing 4-under 67 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club to finish at 20-under 264 and win by three shots over Tim Herron.
More importantly, however, the 46-year-old Pride earned his PGA Tour card for the 2015-16 season, jumping from 40th to fifth on the Web.com Tour money list. He bumped Rob Oppenheim from 24th to 26th while former East Carolina product Harold Varner III finished in the 25th spot.
The top 25 players on the tour's money list earned their PGA Tour cards for next season.
