For years, the big win always seemed to elude Brenna Moore.
In high school at Burkburnett (Texas) High, Moore finished runner-up twice (2009, '10) and third once (2011) in the Texas Class 4A state tournament. She also had top-3 finishes at the Texas-Oklahoma Open in 2010 and '11 before signing with Midwestern State, a Division II school in Wichita Falls, Texas.
"I was always just so close to getting there, so close to winning," Moore said.
She won once her freshman year, at the 2011 UCO Classic, and again at the 2014 Jack Brown Memorial Tournament, but she had still come up short more times than not.
