Paige Spiranac, Cheyenne Woods highlight Ladies Scottish Open

There’s an interesting collection of characters on hand at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open. What’s essentially an off-week for most of the LPGA, with only 32 players participating in the UL International Crown, gives tour players the opportunity to play in the U.K. one week ahead of the Ricoh Women’s British Open.

Scotland’s favorite, Catriona Matthew, stands among the favorites in North Ayrshire for the 54-hole event held July 22-24. She’s joined by a former LET player in Cheyenne Woods, who has been in fine form of late on the LPGA, finishing tied for sixth and tied for 24th in her last two events.
