PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – For the second time this year, Kevin Chappell beat everyone in the field not named Jason Day.
It was also the second time Chappell ran runner-up to Day in Florida, but at least this time, at the Players, he didn’t feel like he let one get away from him.
“Bay Hill hurt a lot more than this one does because I was in control there,” said Chappell, who began the final round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational two shots behind Day but bogeyed the last hole to lose by one stroke.
