DALY CITY, Calif. – Azahara Munoz is eager to make her first start since undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from her left hand.
Munoz is scheduled to tee it up Thursday at the Swinging Skirts Classic at 4:22 p.m. ET with Karrie Webb and Na Yeon Choi.
“It feels good,” Munoz said. “It’s been healing up quickly, so my doctor’s happy about that.”
Munoz had a benign tumor surgically removed from the palm at the base of her left thumb on March 16. She didn’t hit balls for a month and has been hitting full shots only for the last week.
