Colin Montgomerie is back at Belmont Country Club after a trip to the hospital.
Golf Channel Insider Tim Rosaforte reported Sunday afternoon that Montgomerie was at Massachusetts General Hospital earlier in the morning with chest pains.
After tests, Montgomerie left the hospital and was cleared to play his final round at the Senior Players Championship. The hospital is approximately 11 miles from the golf course.
Montgomerie tees off a 1:09 p.m. and will start in a tie for third place, nine shots behind leader Berhnard Langer.
The 51-year-old is a three-time major winner on the Champions Tour after racking up 31 career victories on the European Tour.
