ATLANTA – With U.S. Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III officially going on the clock as Sunday’s deadline looms to make his final pick, Johnny Miller handicapped the field on Saturday at the Tour Championship where he will lead NBC Sport’s coverage.
“[Jim] Furyk might get the pick, I wouldn’t pick him,” Miller told a group of reporters. “Bubba [Watson] is going to be devastated if he doesn’t get a pick, he’s seventh in the world. I would have said whoever plays the best this week, and leaning toward [Kevin] Chappell and [Kevin] Kisner.
